Get to Know Layering Lighting Techniques

31 Agu 2022

Hi in-Lite People, to optimizing natural lighting, the beauty of the room is highly influenced by the technique or artificial illumination or placement of lights at strategic points.

One of lighting design techniques that you can apply to rooms at home is layering technique or layered lighting.

When designing lighting, don’t just focus on how bright a room is. To make the room look more attractive, use layered lighting, which means having several different light sources in one room. Depending on the size of the room, to apply the layering technique, in-Lite recommends using at least two to three types of lamps in a room.

For example, in the living room or dining room area, use 1 pendant light (chandelier), spotlight (track light), and a strip light as shown below.

For a medium room, you can use an in-Lite panel lamp combined with a standing lamp placement in the corner as an accent.
